Tuesday, June 21, 2016 Marineland Niagara Falls, Canada
Marineland here we come!! Today we planned on a full day at Niagara Falls Marineland. There were a lot of rollercoasters and animal exhibits throughout the park located on the outskirts of Niagara Falls. The little boys wanted to ride every ride. Chandler and Josh partook most rides and Carmen had her eyes fixed on one ride in particular. Everyone was in shock and awe at the 450 foot free fall ride that is high enough to view the falls and Canada cityscape. We chose to do that ride last. Chandler and I decided to stay behind and watch from below. They really enjoyed the ride and the views from the top. I loved seeing all the animals. Everyone got to pet the deer within their habitat. Their antlers were fussy and very soft. We finished our visit with the water show featuring sea lions, Beluga whales and bottle nose dolphins. I have always enjoyed marine animals.
After our day at Marineland, we headed downtown Niagara Falls for some dinner at "My Cousin Vinney's" Italian American Food. It was pretty darn good! One event Josh and I didn't do on our previous visit was the Aero Car over the Niagara Falls Whirlpool. We jumped in our car and headed to the Aero Car to catch the last ride for the evening. As we approached the ticket counter, the sign said CLOSED.... that was happening more times than I would like to admit! Maybe tomorrow...
