Day 6
Thursday, June 23, 2016 BEACH DAY
Today is our beach day! We are so excited! So we packed up and prepared ourselves for a full day at the beach. We stepped foot outside the RV and ran back in to put our sweats on.... BRRRRR! Clearly the storm from the night before put a damper on things. whawhawha. So Josh went and rented a golf cart for the day. We sucked it up and finally made our way to the beach at 11am. It was still a bit chilly but was definitely warming up. As we pulled onto the beach, we noticed we might be a little crazy.... we were the only ones there! SWEET! We drove further down the beach looking for the best sandiest spot and guess what?! YEP we got the golf cart stuck in the sand.... twice.... Gotta love us. After we dug out our 6 person hot mess on wheels, we unloaded the kids and Josh and I moseyed back to the resort for some rafts and snorkel gear. Overall it was pretty fun chilling on the beach relaxing and having a picnic lunch with the family. We discussed college and our plans for the rest of the trip ahead of us. We are pretty happy campers.
