Part 2- Day 28 Hilton Head Island

Day 28

Friday, July 15, 2016    Hilton Head RV Resort & Marina

Today we packed up the RV and left Myrtle Beach first thing in the morning. We had about a 3.5 hour drive to Hilton Head RV Resort & Marina. It was a beautiful day, sunny and 85 degrees. We were pretty excited to spend the week at Hilton Head Island.

When we arrived at the Resort, Josh and I grabbed a golf cart and drove around the lot looking for the perfect RV spot. We chose a little wooded oasis. The resort was laid out in circles which was perfect for the boys to ride their bikes with a little more freedom. They didn't waste any time unhooking their bikes to go check things out!

After we settled in, we decided to get some pizza at the local Giuseppe's Pizza. It was delicious! Traffic heading inland at 4:30 is crazy, I don't recommend traveling at that time. Hilton Head Island is beautiful. They seem to preserve every tree possible and stick with neutral color scheme buildings throughout town. Think of a cozy place in the deep woods where you put your feet up and relax with a hot cup of coffee overlooking open water. How peaceful. Did I mention there were very few kids at this RV Resort and we may have disturbed slumber with our crazy bike riding, pokemon chasing boys!

 "Who's the man?!"
