Sunday, July 17, 2016 Rain Rain GO Away
It was a dark and stormy morning. It gets a little scary being in an RV during a storm. I decide to wake everyone up to the smell of WAFFLES! Boy has Colin been craving waffles. There wasn't much on the agenda for today, we just had to wing it with this rainy weather. We sat twiddling our thumbs till mid afternoon. We decided to go to San Miguel's Mexican Restaurant. There was a bit of a compromise earlier in the week on who gets to choose our next restaurant. On our way to dinner, the weather alerts came on the radio. There was a big storm rolling in. Josh reminded me that it was probably better we be at the restaurant during the storm and NOT in the RV. The food was great. It sure hit the spot. The restaurant overlooked a marina which was a beautiful view as the sun came out after the storm.
Josh dropped us girls at home and all the boys went to the movie theater together. It was nice to have a little quiet time. Carmen and I talked college and reflected on the places we had already been. It continued to storm on and off but it's nice to be in the comfort of your "home" on a rainy day.
