Sunday, July 10, 2016 Myrtle Beach Baby!
We woke up early and departed from Cherry Hill RV Resort in Maryland by 6am. Next stop.... Lakewood RV Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. We were anticipating a full day of driving. I was watching the forecast and it was supposed to rain the whole week. Not going to be very happy campers if that is the case. We were fortunate to have arrived with plenty of time to unpack and check out the RV Resort. The Resort is very big. There was so much to take in. We tried to read through all of the brochures and maps but we decided to just check it out for ourselves. Charlie was so excited to go down the waterslides that him and I stayed at the water park while the rest of the family went to the beach. After an hour, Charlie and I went to the RV and funny enough the rest of the family was right behind us. The thunder started rolling so we got cleaned up and went to dinner at Angus Steakhouse. It was pouring rain when Josh dropped us at the front door. Even with an umbrella, Josh walked in and was soaked from head to toe. He was a bit disappointed there was no hand dryer in the bathroom to attempt to dry off. The waitress told us the weather is on and off like that every day but not to worry, it will NOT ruin our vacation!
