Wednesday, July 13, 2016 Lazy River
Today we decided to split up for a while. Josh and I took the little boys to the water slides and lazy river. Charlie really wanted to show Colin how much fun the waterslides were. Josh and I watched them from the bench at the bottom of the slides. After about 15 minutes Josh and I were dripping from sitting in this heat. It is so humid and hot here. We jumped in the lazy river and went around and around as the boys enjoyed the slides. They joined us in the river for a while and went back and forth on the slides. It felt so nice to just float and be carefree.
One of the cool things about being at this park was you wear electronic wristbands to get in and out of the activities and to pay for things so you don't have to carry around money. You just scan your bands and it charges your camping bill. Well, we went to the snack bar to get a lemon ice and after we got our drinks we went to pay and none of us had a balance on our bands. OHHHH.... you have to put a certain amount of money ON it before you use it! HA!! How embarrassing. We thought it was like a credit card but obviously NOT. So Josh left us there and ran over to the RV to get some money. Gotta laugh at yourself sometimes!
When we got home, Carmen and Chandler were shortly behind us. We sat and snuggled up and watched the movie "Big." Great movie!
The boys enjoyed their free time riding their bikes around the park before the sun went down. There is so much going on there at night. They enjoyed being part of the crowd.
I walked out to check on them just as the sun was setting. The view of the sunset from the beach was amazing.
